Introducing our DC Daybook
Over the past several months, the team at the Movement Infrastructure Project has been working hard to develop and upgrade a new set of digital resources and tools to support organizers in our movement. We’ve got a guide to permitting events in Washington, DC, an interactive action planning map, a DC Daybook with events and updates around the political landscape, and a new, improved movement calendar!
There’s a ton of material here and it can be a little overwhelming so we’re sharing a series of updates highlighting each one of these resources, along with some tips and tricks on using them.
MIP’s DC Daybook
Our new DC Daybook pulls together pretty much everything we find that’s happening in Washington, DC each day and compiles it in an email that goes out to subscribers at around 8am each weekday morning.
We’re action focused so the update starts with events on our Movement Calendar. After that we share updates on Congress’s schedule for the day, the US Supreme Court, the Administration and public events with the DC Council and the Mayor.
Want to know what Trump is up to today? Check out the President’s daily schedule.
Curious about what’s going to be driving the news on Capitol Hill today? Check out the Congressional Press Pool’s schedule for the day!
Every Sunday evening the daybook publishes our Weekly Planner with the full roundup of activities and events over the next seven days to help you get ready for the week ahead.
You can read the daily updates on our Buttondown feed or subscribe for updates to your inbox every day! You can also subscribe to our RSS feed.
